My Story

Aaron Green, CEO of StruggleMadeMe and StruggleMadeUs, has beat the odds by defeating all the statistics against him. Despite facing significant challenges, he has emerged as a resilient leader, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others. Aaron is certified in Emotional CPR, youth mental health and first aid, and trauma-informed care, demonstrating his commitment to providing effective support and care to those in need.

Graduating from Cathedral High School and the University of Alabama-Birmingham, Aaron’s personal journey of overcoming adversity has fueled his passion for serving systems-impacted youth and their families. As the co-host of the mental health-centered podcast The Brotherhood Unveiling, he shares his insights and experiences to promote healing and resilience within communities.

Aaron has been a dedicated service provider for over 12 years, directly supporting hundreds of DCS-involved families. With a proven 99% success rate in helping youth and families achieve their goals, his track record reflects both his expertise and unwavering commitment to strengthening families and fostering positive outcomes.

His creation of Struggle University showcases his innovative approach to addressing trauma and fostering healing. Through this program, he empowers participants to identify trauma, learn coping skills, and embark on a journey of personal growth and resilience. Additionally, Aaron is the visionary behind Struggle Made Me, a clothing brand for overcomers, and Struggle Made Us, a community outreach and support non-profit, furthering his mission to uplift and empower others.

Expanding his impact, Aaron also founded Solutions to Adversity Family Services (S2A), a professional social services agency designed to provide critical support to families through home-based casework, father engagement, therapy, visitation, and family preservation services. By blending lived experience with professional expertise, S2A bridges the gap between systems and communities, ensuring that families receive trauma-informed, culturally competent, and effective care.

His leadership represents the intersection of lived experience, professional expertise, and visionary impact. Aaron’s dedication, certifications, and entrepreneurial spirit serve as a beacon of hope for those facing adversity, inspiring communities to rise above challenges while creating sustainable pathways for healing, growth, and empowerment.
